Course Description
In this course you will be introduced to basic internetworking concepts and the Cisco product line. You will explore the basic skills necessary to work in the Cisco IOS operating system, manage configuration files, and work with Catalyst 1900 switches. You will explore the basics of interconnecting Cisco routers with TCP/IP, IP routing protocols, and the management of IP traffic using access lists. You will examine the concepts behind and the use of several protocols, including Novell NetWare IPX/SPX, Frame-Relay, ISDN, PAP, and CHAP.

Course Outline
After completing of this course you will be able to navigate in Cisco IOS, complete basic configuration of Cisco devices and their interfaces, and manage device configurations. You will also be able to configure switches to support virtual LANs in a network. You will also be able to use various protocols, including Novell NetWare IPX/SPX, Frame-Relay, ISDN, PAP, and CHAP, to configure Cisco devices in an internetworking environment.
