Upon completion of this course, the participant will:
Have an understanding of the unique skills that therapists bring to coaching;
Be able to compare and contrast coaching, consulting, and therapy;
Be aware of why coaching has emerged as a new paradigm for personal and professional growth; and
Be familiar with Life Coaching as a viable professional alternative or addition to the participant''s current practice.
This is an exploratory course about life coaching. For those considering a transition into the new and dynamic field of life coaching, this program offers an opportunity to examine some of the differences and similarities between therapy and coaching and explore issues unique to coaching.
