In this course, you will be introduced to AS/400 objects and the role that they play in the AS/400 system, as well as the fundamentals of Work Management and Data Management. The course also covers how to connect to the AS/400 using a PC and the types of networks supported by the AS/400.

Course Outline
After completing this course, you will be able to identify, use, and store objects, explain basic object security features, identify and explain general aspects of Work Management, identify files and explain how they are managed in the AS/400. You will also be able to explain the functions of the Integrated File System (IFS), explain how databases are managed in the AS/400, identify and explain Client Access and its primary functions, use Client Access to perform print operations and transfer files, identify and explain the primary functions of Operations Navigator, and explain the various network configurations available on the AS/400.
