Banking Today provides a wide-ranging overview of the banking industry, including an overview of the regulatory environment in which banks operate; the increasingly competitive banking marketplace; and the trends most likely to affect the future of banking. This course examines the relationship between banking and the U.S. economy, as well as the history of banking in the United States. Finally, Banking Today offers a realistic example of how banks operate by observing the operation of a fictitious bank developed specifically for this course."
