Course Description
Opposing parties in litigation tend to have very different views of the case, often hindering progress in settlement discussions. Led by an expert in litigation risk analysis techniques, attorneys on two sides of a hypothetical case use decision analysis tools and probability prediction techniques in a collaborative risk assessment process to facilitate settlement discussions. Through this process, attorneys can gain a better understanding of the individual issues in a case and how they interact to make the case stronger or weaker.
