Course Description
Distance learning course of 4 sessions
This course covers the complexities of pain, its causes, physiology, control and management.
In order to carry out the new roles in drug therapy, the nurse must understand drugs. The greater your knowledge of how drugs act, and how they are used in clinical practice, the more you will be able to anticipate drug responses in your patients. This course will aim to make you more effective in counselling your patients on their drug therapy, and in optimising their drug administration and pain control for maximum benefit.
